Foundation of the Islamic Centre of Thailand
The Islamic Centre of Thailand was established as a central hub for the Muslim community in the country, with its foundation rooted in the growing need for a unified institution to support religious, educational, and cultural activities. Initiated in the 1950s and officially opened in the 1960s, the Centre was developed with the support of both local and international Muslim communities.

Museum Nong Chok
Established to preserve and showcase the rich heritage of one of Bangkok's oldest and most unique districts. The museum highlights the district’s diverse cultural identity, especially its strong Islamic influence, agricultural roots, and multicultural community. Exhibits include traditional farming tools, historical photographs, local crafts, and displays on the lifestyles of Thai Muslims and other ethnic groups in the area. The museum also serves as an educational resource for students and visitors interested in learning about the rural development and socio-cultural dynamics of Nong Chok. Though modest in size, it offers a meaningful glimpse into the area.
Thai Date Farm Outlet
The shop features a small orchard-like area where visitors can view date fruit farm tree grown locally. It is not a traditional date plantation but a specialty store offering a wide selection of dates, dried fruits, and nuts.
National Central Mosque
The National Central Mosque of Thailand, located in Bangkok's Nong Chok district, serves as the country's main Islamic place of worship and administrative center. Completed in 1984, the mosque was designed by architect Paichit Pongpanluk and features a striking gold dome and 56-meter minaret. Covering 16,000 m² and accommodating over 3,000 worshippers, it was built with support from both local and international Muslim communities, as well as the Thai government. Beyond religious functions, the mosque also supports Islamic education and halal certification.

Halal Aesthetic Restauran & Cafes
The area is home to several cafes that are halal-certified. They offer a variety of cusine spanning Thai, Middle Eastern, and European dishes, as well as indulgent desserts and signature drinks. These designer food and beverage outlets are a great place to rest and relax, with ample photo opportunities.

The Nong Chok area also has Night Markets that offer a wide variety of Halal street food. In additiona, they also offer locally made wear at bargain prices.
